lyrics

Waiting, for the pendulum swing
I don't want it, I don't need it
Waiting for the next extreme
I don't want it
I don't need it
Waiting for the revolution
Of the poor and the broken

Yeah yeah yeah I wanna see the
Revolution from my TV yeah
Nothing can hurt me, no one'll hurt me

So I try to open my eyes
To the fact that, it's all lies
Sugar Coated and molded to their size
Well we don't want it and we don't need it

Yeah yeah yeah I wanna see the
Revolution from my TV yeah
Nothing can hurt me, no one'll hurt me

We are the parachutes
We can save us from this fall
We are the parachutes
We cant just go on

The Blockades Brisbane, Australia

The Blockades were a Brisbane-based Alternative Punk outfit. The band showed great maturity, writing songs exploring themes including politics and mental health, despite them being high school students.
Possessing 2 strong vocalists of both gender, the trio created a huge, dark and versatile 90s alt rock-tinged sound that delved into experimental noise rock, riot-grrrl punk, and even indie-pop. .
